Colombo Marine Algae - Nitrate Ex

Nitrates and phosphates are potent nutrients for algae. With the Colombo Nitrate Test you can easily measure how high the nitrate content is. The optimal value for nitrate is less than 1 mg/l. 

Nitrate Ex is a nutrient for bacteria that can break down nitrate. These bacteria cannot develop properly without this nutrient. Nitrate Ex must be dosed daily, after a few weeks the bacterial colony is sufficiently developed and you will be able to observe a clear reduction of nitrate.

Dosage:

• 1 ml / 20 liter aquarium water. 1x per day. Dosage may be doubled if nitrate level is higher than 10 mg/l.

Contents:

• 500 ml is sufficient for 40 days / 250 liters of aquarium water.
• 1 liter is sufficient for 80 days / 250 liters of aquarium water.
